UEFA fines Turkish club Trabzonspor over hooligans

Turkish football club Trabzonspor has been fined 40,000 euros ($43,500) by European football governing body UEFA over its fans' rampant behaviour during the Europa League round of 16 match against Napoli of Italy.

UEFA discipline committee stated on Thursday that Trabzonspor was fined for their fans damaged the seats in stadium, lit torches and thrown them onto the pitch during the game against Napoli on February 26, reports Xinhua

Trabzonspor were eliminated by Napoli after losing 0-5 on aggregate.
