Uganda will join Burundi, Kenya and the hosts in a Rwanda Genocide Invitational Football tournament slated for June 6-7 in Kigali.
Uganda national team head coach Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic said on Tuesday they will take part in the event to be held in honour of players, coaches, fans and administrators who were killed during the 1994 Rwanda Genocide.
He added Uganda will use the match as preparation for the 2016 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier, reports Xinhua.
"The event will be very good to prepare our players ahead of the preliminary qualifier game against Tanzania on June 20," added the Serbian.
