The Uttar Pradesh cabinet decided here on Thursday that Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) will now be available in tetra packs in the state.
The IMFL would be available in economy, medium and 180 ml tetra packs, the state cabinet decided at a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.
The cabinet also decided to make wearing of helmets compulsory for two-wheeler pillion riders, open a homeopathy college in Gorakhpur and increase the number of beds by 60 at the Kanpur Heart Care Institute.
The cabinet also approved a proposal for empowering the Excise Commissioner to select security holograms, making of a bridge on the Ganga river in Ballia and construction of a new state guest house in Dwarka area of New Delhi.
