Uruguayan defender Martin Caceres, who has been without a team since last June, could sign a contract with Italian football giants AC Milan.
The former Juventus defender is reported to be chosen by Milan's Managing Director Adriano Galliano to replace injured Mattie De Scallion and Luca Anton Elli, Italian media reported on Thursday, reports Efe.
If all parties give the go-ahead to the move, there could even be a medical soon for the former Barcelona player.
The Uruguayan, 29, is a multi-purpose defender who can play both at central and lateral positions, which would make him a good choice for Milan coach Vincenzo Montello.
