A US Air Force drone crashed in southeastern Turkey's Sanliurfa province on Monday, according to a statement on the website of the Incirlik air base.
The MQ-1 Predator drone was being remotely piloted when it crashed in southeast Turkey at approximately 11:50 a.m. local time, Xinhua news agency cited a statement as saying.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
According to local media, the accident area was blocked by gendarmerie while Turkish and American officials examined the crash scene.
This is the second drone accident since last Thursday, when another US MQ-1 Predator drone crashed in southern Adana province for unknown reasons.
