The US and Israel disagree on how to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons but their alliance is stronger than ever, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said here Monday.
The deal on Iran's nuclear programme that world powers and Iran were negotiating "could threaten the survival of Israel", Xinhua news agency quoted Netanyahu as saying at the annual policy conference of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee here.
But Netanyahu emphasised on the US and Israel's strong relations in an effort to playdown the rift between the longtime allies.
Reports of the demise of the Israeli-US relations are not only premature, "they are just wrong", Netanyahu said. "Our alliance is stronger than ever."
