US military helicopter crashes off Japan, 7 injured
A US military helicopter crashed off Okinawa's main island on Wednesday, injuring at least seven crew members, Japanese authorities said.
The crash occured around 1.30 p.m. about 30 km east of the US Kadena air base on the island, Kyodo news agency quoted a Japan coast guard as saying.
There were 17 people aboard the US Army UH-60 helicopter and all of them have been rescued.
