Some 2,500 Valencia supporters packed into the club's training facility to watch the first practice of 2019.
Fans began gathering hours before the doors were set to open at 7.00 pm, and 100 or so people were left outside after the stands filled to capacity.
The supporters lucky enough to get in burst into applause when the squad took the pitch, reports Efe enws.
Many in the crowd held up placards with messages of encouragement for their favourite players.
Currently 8th in LaLiga with 22 points from 17 matches, Valencia will travel to the Basque region on Saturday for a contest with 5th-place Alaves, who have 28 points.
