Filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh on Monday said that he found actors Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt to be superb in their latest film "Badrinath Ki Dulhania".
"Really enjoyed Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in aBadrinath Ki Dulhania'. Superb they were. So much fun to watch their banter. Clap Clap," Ghosh tweeted.
The Shashank Khaitan-directed "Badrinath Ku Dulhania", which is produced by Karan Johar, has opened strongly at the box-office.
In the first two days in the country, the film minted Rs 27 crore, according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
Although a romantic drama, the film does throw the spotlight on the dowry system and still existent patriarchal society. The film is the second instalment of the 2014 hit film "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania"
