Veteran communist leader dies in Kerala

Veteran Communist Party of India (Marxist)leader P.K. Chandranandan died here Wednesday, his party said. He was 88.

He was suffering from age related illness. His last rites would be performed here Thursday.

Chandranandan had represented the Ambalpuzha assembly constituency during 1980-82. Besides, he was a member of the party's state committee.
