A video of a class 6 student being bullied by a group of schoolmates went viral on the Internet Wednesday, prompting the school authorities to take action against the errant students.
The video was circulated through WhatsApp - a mobile messaging application - following which parents of the student approached the school authorities.
"We have taken action against the students," said the principal of the school in south Delhi.
She refused to share further details.
In the video, the boy was shoved and kicked by a bunch of students who also hurled abuses at him.
"It is a very serious concern and we cannot ignore this," the principal added.
