All 13 Lok Sabha constituencies in Punjab Wednesday began voting in a single phase, officials said.
As many as 253 candidates are in the fray.
Balloting is being held at 22,022 polling booths where more than 19.6 million people are eligible to vote.
A total of 234,011 poll officials have been deployed.
