Actress Shraddha Kapoor, who will be seen in "Rock On 2" on Saturday confessed her craze and love for the first film "Rock On", saying that she wanted to be a part of it 8 years ago
"I am a big fan of 'Rock On' film and songs. Eight years back I had gone to watch 'Rock On' with my brother and parents. I loved the film.
"I had told there only that whenever a sequel of this movie will be made, then definitely I will act in the film," she said at a press conference prior to the concert for "Rock On 2"s music launch.
"This is a very different film of mine. I am nervous and excited to perform on stage."
Asked his favourite from the music of the "Rock On" sequel, actor Farhan Akhtar said: "It is very difficult to say one favourite song. There is not just one favourite song in the movie."
"Titli" fame actor and musician Shashank Arora, who will join the "Magik" band of "Rock On 2" this time as a new member, also also shared his excitement.
"I always wanted to be an actor. Finally I got a chance. I am very happy. When I got a call for "Rock On 2", then I was really excited," he said.
The upcoming musical drama film is directed by Shujaat Saudagar, produced by Farhan and Ritesh Sidhwani, and has music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
While Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Prachi Desai, and Purab Kohli reprise their roles from "Rock On", Shraddha will be sharing screen space opposite Farhan Akhtar, while Shashank is a supporting character.
