Warjri is Meghalaya's new CIC

Former Chief Secretary P.B.O. Warjri was sworn in as the new Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) of Meghalaya on Thursday.

Governor V. Shanmunagathan administered the oath of office to Warjri, who succeeds C.D. Kynjinh, at a brief ceremony at the Raj Bhavan here. Kynjinh was the second CIC of Meghalaya.

Chief Minister Mukul Sangma, his cabinet ministers and Chief Secretary K.S. Kropha were among those present on the occasion.
