Delhi experienced a warm Wednesday with the maximum temperature recorded at 38.6 degree Celsius, normal for the season. The Met office has forecast a clear and warm Thursday.
The maximum and the minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 40 degree and 25 degrees Celsius respectively.
"The skies will be clear throughout the day and and the day warm," said an official of the India Meteorological Department(IMD).
The minimum temperature Wednesday settled at 24.2 degree Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
Tuesday was warm with the maximum temperature recorded was one notch above the season's average at 38.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled a notch above the season's average at 26 degrees Celsius.
