Small screen actress Asha Negi won the sixth season of "Nach Baliye" with actor-boyfriend Rithvik Dhanjani and says she was confident they will win the celebrity dance reality show.

The couple had performed consistently well from the beginning of "Nach Baliye 6" and won the finale Saturday.

"Both me and Rithvik, we were confident that we will win the show. There was never a moment when we lost the confidence or that we were over-confident. But, we did our best, gave my 100 percent and we knew it will pay off," Asha told IANS in a telephonic interview from Mumbai.

The actress said that competing with Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary was difficult for them as they always had something new or different to perform.

"Gurmeet and Debina always gave good performances, they used to surprise us with their acts. So, it was challenging to compete with them, but Rithvik was always there for me and it's because of his support that we were able to reach the finale and win the trophy," she said.

"Even my choreographers (Vaibhav and Bhavana) kept me going. I used to get so tired after the shoot (of 'Pavitra Rishta') that they literally had to persuade me everyday to perform. I am very lazy otherwise, but because of Rithvik and my choreographers I just used to practice," Asha added.

Along with the trophy, the couple was handed over Rs.35 lakh as prize money and Asha has already thought of what to do with it.

"Rithvik is planning to buy a house and even I am thinking of the same. But first of all, both of us are going to visit Golden Temple (Amritsar)," she said.

The show, judged by actress Shilpa Shetty, filmmaker Sajid Khan and choreographer Terence Lewis, went on air Nov 9, 2013, on Star Plus.
