Security forces busted a militant hideout in Jammu and Kashmir's hilly Doda district and seized weapons and ammunition from the site, a defence official said Thursday.
"Based on specific intelligence inputs about a militant hideout, a joint operation was launched by the army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police in Halaran area of Doda district Feb 5 (Wednesday)," he said.
The weapons seized from the hideout - a natural cave in the dense forest - included a light machine gun with magazine, two Chinese pistols with magazines, one under barrel grenade launcher and five grenades.
