Wedding date to be finalised in August: Mohit Abrol

Actor Mohit Abrol says the date of his wedding with Mansi Srivastava might get finalised in August when their families meet.

"We haven't fixed any date. Our families will be meeting in August. Once they meet up, they will finalise the date and the wedding venue," Mohit told IANS over phone from Mumbai.

On the work front, Mohit has entered &TV's social drama "Gangaa" as Rudra.

"The character is a positive one. He hails from Rae Bareli and has a sister who is autistic. He has brought her up and knows what she wants even if it's just through gestures. My character is a businessman who has an attitude," he said.

Is Rudra inspired by any of the movie characters?

"I wear a jacket, formal shirt and trousers like Ranbir Kapoor in 'Raajneeti'. The look is something like that," said Mohit, who was also seen as an antagonist in the Colors' show "Swaragini".

There were also reports that Cezzane Khan was to act in "Gangaa" instead of Mohit.

"Somebody's loss is somebody's gain. I had just finished up with 'Swaragini' and I was just chilling. Cezzane is a veteran in the industry and I've been here for just two years. I guess his character would have been different," said the 28-year-old.
