At least 10 people were killed when a wedding hall collapsed in China's Zhejiang province, authorities said Friday.
The hall that collapsed Thursday evening in Yazhuang village when more than 200 guests were present was an old structure, Xinhua reported Friday citing Yu Manxing, a county government spokesman.
At least 91 people were injured and taken to hospital, including 11 who remained in serious condition, Yu said.
"Just a few minutes after I sat down to dine, I heard creaking wood. Then the roof fell the minute I looked up," said Chen Dianzhong, who is being treated for injuries to his waist and legs.
A preliminary investigation found that a large amount of snow overburdened the roof, causing it to cave in, Yu said.
