If weddings are important for brides and grooms, the occasion also allows singles to find a suitable partner for themselves, says a report.
Dating site mysinglefriend.com conducted a survey and it was found that 80 percent of singles believe weddings are good fun and a great place to meet new people, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Majority of the respondents also said that they would like the bride and groom to inform them about other singles expected to attend the wedding.
"Weddings are fantastic opportunities to match make our fabulous single friends! It's time to get our Great British brides and grooms involved," Sarah Beeny, founder of mysinglefriend.com said.
