Kanye West joined hands with former Beatle Paul McCartney on "Only one", which the rapper says was also co-created by his late mother Donda West.
Kanye and McCartney began working together on the recently released song in early 2014 here, and the rapper had a moving experience while the duo was brainstorming, people.com.
Kanye took daughter North on his lap and began singing: "Hello, my only one ... " and the song was born.
"My mom was singing to me, and through me to my daughter," he said.
He then explained to those present at the recording session that the name Kanye, chosen by his mother, means "only one".
Kanye recently posted the lyrics and song on his website and his wife Kim Kardashian, also posted a photo on Instagram of her husband and North to announce the song's release.
"Everyone asks me what my favourite Kanye song is. It's Only One. Kanye felt like his mom was singing thru him to our daughter. This song makes me cry every time I hear it," she wrote in the caption.
