Actress Swara Bhaskar believes her survival kit, primarily comprising her friends and family, helps her sail through the ups and downs in her showbiz career.

"Friends who make fun of all my problems, however serious, family that bails me out every time, three furry cats of three different sizes, children's literature...," Swara told IANS on being asked about her survival kit.

There's more.

"BBC's 'Pride and Prejudice' series starring Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle, old Hindi film songs, Maggi noodles and lots of adrak chai. Also, the realisation that there is a whole world outside the frame of that camera lens and the set where the film is being shot," she added.

The actress, seen in films like "Madholal Keep Walking" and "Tanu Weds Manu", is now awaiting the release of her films "Aurangzeb" and "Raanjhanaa".

Ashley Lobo's yardstick for a good dancer

Choreographer Ashley Lobo, who is a judge on ongoing dance reality show "India's Dancing Superstar", believes a good dancer is anyone who can make the audience groove.

"My yardstick for a good dancer is that when you're watching them, you want to dance yourself. So, whether you're five or 75, if you make me dance, you're great," Lobo told IANS.

"If you dance on the stage, and the audience feels like dancing with you, you're the star - that's my mantra," added the choreographer, who has worked on movies like "Dhoom", "Guzaarish" and "Rockstar".

Lobo, who runs Danceworx, a network of dancing schools, co-judges "India's Dancing Superstar" along with Geeta Kapur and actor Riteish Deshmukh. The show airs on Star Plus.
