A wildlife photography exhibition, titled "Wings of Freedom" was inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik at the Raj Bhawvn here on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the photographs gave peace and reflected on the need of conservation of our green environs.
Organised by the state forest department, the exhibition has a collection of rare photographs of birds found in Uttar Pradesh. In all, 250 photographs in various sections have been put up on display.
There are 80 photographs of birds species in the UP wetlands, 45 of birds in the forests, 45 in the plains and 80 photographs of birds that have been spotted from time to time in the sprawling Raj Bhavan.
The exhibition will remain open for people up till January 28, said a Raj Bhavan.
