Woman chases robber out with broom in Sarajevo

A brave saleswoman chased a knife-waving robber out of her shop with a broom, local media reported.

In a half-minute surveillance video, the robber broke into the small grocery shop, waving a knife and demanding money, but the saleswoman took a broom and fought with the robber, who then fled the shop, Xinhua reported Sunday.

Bahto Licina, owner of the shop, reported the case to the police.

Some small shops in Sarajevo become targets of thieves and robbers because of lack of security measures.
