A 20-year-old woman was detained by Delhi Police on Wednesday for crossing a barricade put up on a route to be taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's convoy.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Jatin Narwal said the woman ran across the barricade on the Race Course Road around 2.15 p.m. and broke a flower pot in the process.

"She has been detained for questioning. She only said she wanted to seek justice, but has not given any clear reason," he told IANS.

The woman, whose name has been withheld, is a resident of Sahibabad in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh.
