Two people were Tuesday arrested in Odisha's Kendrapada district and a manhunt was launched by police to nab another person after a Dalit woman complained that she was raped by them, an official said.
The 27-year-old woman said she was waylaid near her home in Badagoan village June 29 by the accused, Superintendent of Police Rabi Narayan Behera told IANS.
All the three people raped her after confining her at various locations in the district, the woman said in her complaint.
The accused dropped the woman at her home Monday and warned her against making the matter public.
Police arrested Saroj Mallick (46) and Tukuna Mallick (55) after the woman, who is married, filed a complaint Monday.
The district headquarters town of Kendrapada is about 100 km from state capital Bhubaneswar.
