The World Bank Monday launched a new website to allow users to track the progress of the bank's projects and check whether the group is meeting its key targets, including poverty reduction and boosting inclusive growth.
The website, which will be upgraded continually, is being run by the President's Delivery Unit, which tracks the group's strategic priorities, Xinhua reported.
"The delivery unit will help us internally to make sure we're on track, and will also allow the people we serve to follow us more closely and make sure we are delivering on our promises," said World Bank President Jim Yong Kim.
The site shows the group's initial 12 targets, including issues such as climate change, business performance and energy.
All these indicators are linked in some way to the group's two primary goals of ending extreme poverty by 2030 and boosting shared prosperity among the bottom 40 percent of the population in developing countries, the group noted.
