Rio de Janeiro, June 29 (IANS/EFE) Colombia striker James Rodriguez, who is the top scorer of the World Cup with five goals, says he would love to play in Spain.
"It would be a dream to play there. It is the best league in the world. I prefer Real Madrid to Barcelona," the 22-year-old said, reports EFE.
Rodriguez, who was named Man of the Match in Colombia's 2-0 victory over Uruguay in the Round of 16 Saturday, secured his country's place in the quarterfinals after scoring a brace.
Colombia will take on Brazil, who defeated Chile in a penalty shootout, July 4 at the Castelao Stadium in Fortaleza.
