Wouldn't leave Barcelona for triple the money: Suarez

Barcelona forward Luis Suarez said he is convinced that he will stay in the Catalan football giants for years to come and will not leave the club even if he is offered triple his current salary because the Uruguayan international "suffered a lot to get to this club, where I've always dreamed of playing".

"I wouldn't leave Barca for triple the money. It's impossible for me to leave in the coming years...I want to play here, my family is happy and I know the city like the back of my hand," Efe quoted Suarez as saying on Thursday.

The Uruguayan ace delivered his statements while participating in a commercial event on Thursday in which he stressed "I cannot guarantee that I will retire here, but I will be here for a long time".

Since his arrival from English club Liverpool last year Suarez has become essential for the Blaugrana, along with Brazilian teammate Neymar and Argentine star Lionel Messi, who has been surrounded by rumours lately regarding a possible move to Manchester City.

Suarez believes that it is impossible for Messi to leave Barcelona, adding that his teammate "is happy, having a good time and his family is happy".
