Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Friday approved the names of three new vice presidents for Punjab state unit, including that of Yamini Gomar, who recently joined the Congress after quitting Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
The other two vice presidents are Chander Mohan Lakhanpal and Iqbal Singh Pannu.
Praveen Kumar Bhardwaj has been appointed General Secretary of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC), while Bharpur Inderjit Singh is a new executive member of the party.
The names were released by Congress General Secretary Janardan Dwivedi.
