First "Purani Jeans" now "Tum Bin 2", Aditya Seal who started acting at the age of 14 hasnt had it easy. He says that its hard for an outsider to get a break.
"To be honest, it has not been so easy. I believe, being an outsider, it's difficult to get a break but survival for all might be the same. You need talent to sustain," he said.
"I have been working hard on myself for a lot of years.Everyday has been like a struggle because this isn't like a theory exam where 2+2 is 4.There is no clear path to reach your destination..but yes so far so good," he added.
Aditya started at a young age, playing a boy who fantasizes about a much older woman Manisha Koirala in "Ek Chotisi Love Story". In hindsight, he has no regrets starting with a film that raised quite a few eyebrows.
"No, at all. The story was very relatable. I had a crush on my teacher and it garnered me a lot of recognition. I remember meeting Anil Kapoor sir and introducing myself with that film," he said.
The youngster gets a lot of female attention.
"I am totally flattered by the compliments I get from the ladies and then I am all their for the taking. I love the attention. So there were these three girls that had sent me a letter. And when I say letter, it wasn't a post. They found my address, left a letter with a lot of kind words and lipstick marks and put it under my door in the night."
Aditya has a contract with T Series who, he says, have a career plan for him. He would like to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Rakesh Omprakash Mehra and Farhan Akhtar.
"Actually there are many directors I want to work with. And there are many actors I look up to Shah Rukh Khan being on top of my list. I don't want to get into a serious relationship at this stage of my life when my career is my only priority," says Seal.
