A 25 year-old youth committed suicide by jumping off from 16th floor of a highrise commercial building in Nehru Place area on Wednesday, police said.
Police said some local shop-owners informed Kalkaji police station about the incident at around 6.30 p.m.
The youth jumped off the Chiranjivi Tower in Nehru Place which has a bustling IT market.
"The deceased is yet to be identified and no suicide note was recovered from his possession.We are inquiring with local shops employees to ascertain whether he was a visitor or employee of any shop," Deputy Commissioner of Police Romil Baniya told IANS.
