The National Olympic Committee of Zambia has picked 47 athletes to represent the country at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
The 47 athletes, comprising 14 women and 33 men, are expected to compete in nine sports disciplines, reports Xinhua.
Hazel Kennedy, the National Olympic Committee of Zambia secretary general, said the list will soon be submitted to the government for the trip's funding.
Nine runners will compete in athletics, three for badminton and six for boxing.
Other sports disciplines include Judo, which will have six players, lawn bowls with 10 players, table tennis with two players and weightlifting three players.
