The Islamic State militant group is a threat to the entire world and there is zero tolerance for the IS in Pakistan, Director General of ISPR Lt. Gen. Asim Bajwa has said.
"IS (Daesh) is a threat for the whole world and all will have to deal with it together. It can not defeat world powers. At present, it carries out activities in the Middle East, but other regions can also face its threat," Bajwa said during a press briefing in Washington on Thursday.
"IS is gaining foothold in Afghanistan. But there is no room for it in Pakistan. There is zero tolerance policy for the group in the country. Clear cut action will be taken against it," the Inter-Services Public Relations chief said.
Operations were being launched against the terrorists under well organised strategy of Zarb-e-Azb. They will find no place to hide, he asserted.
