Union minister Ananth Kumar was among the dignitaries present at the launch of three social security schemes - Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana - last weekend in Bengaluru. When it was his turn to speak, Kumar, who had served as the minister for civil aviation in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government, started by saying, "Our dear Prime Minister Vajpayee's dream insurance schemes..." As the audience burst into laughter, he corrected himself and said, "I invoked the name of Vajpayee, so everything will be fine with the scheme."
