Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone was the star attraction at a dinner hosted by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for his Japanese counterpart, Yukio Hatoyama. “She was not only one of the tallest guests but also the bravest. While all others wore heavy winter dresses, she was wearing a saree. She didn’t seem to be bothered about the Delhi winter,” said a Cabinet minister. Padukone was invited as the Japanese prime minister’s wife, Miyuki Hatoyama, had seen Padukone’s debut film, Om Shanti Om, and expressed her desire to meet the actress.
