Every one from Mayawati to Jayalalitha to Sharad Pawar are throwing their hats in the ring for prime ministership in this election season. And Pawar is even getting support from unexpected quarters like the Shiv Sena, which wishes to see a Marathi manoos as the prime minister (PM). Now, another PM aspirant from Maharashtra, which has not given any PM to the country, is Mahadeo Jankar, president of a little-known Yashwant Sena.
Addressing a press conference in Pune two days ago, Jankar, who is contesting elections from Madha, from where Pawar has declared his candidature, predicted he would become the PM and his followers will be MLAs, MPs, ministers and chief ministers.
If Pawar misses the bus this time, Sena should not get disheartened and wait as it will get a chance to support another Marathi manoos for prime ministership.
