TV channels are falling over each other to get an appointment with the visiting US President Barack Obama for an exclusive interview. As of now, the US Administration has indicated that it won’t be possible owing to time constraints. But, a protocol officer who is currently involved in preparing for the US president’s visit to Mumbai and Delhi has an answer for channels competing for breaking news. He half-jokingly recommends that all of them should take a charter flight and interview Obama in the White House and beam it during his visit. Last heard, there were no takers for this suggestion.
