GAIL's disclosure

Public sector company GAIL, in the spirit of full disclosure, has informed the National Stock Exchange that ‘President of India, as a Promoter, who is holding 72,74,05,675 equity shares in the Company representing 57.35 per cent, has not pledged any shares’. GAIL’s disclosure comes in response to Sebi’s order asking all listed companies to disclose if their promoters have pledged their shares.
