On Monday, on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, Trinamool Congress leader Sovandeb Chattopadhyay was seen performing Ganesh puja at the party headquarters, following her wish.
Banerjee is also expected to visit Puri's Jagannath Temple later this week. Was that an attempt to appease the gods before the state Assembly election results are declared on May 19?
