This refers to the article “Lush ground for lawsuits” by M J Antony (May 11). The farmers’ agitation in Uttar Pradesh has once again raised the issue of land acquisition in the country. To emerge victorious in their projects, industrialists need a three-pronged strategy. This should include estimating the land required for projects, seeking the opinion of the people before the land is acquired and fixing rates accurately.
