Letters: Natural growth

This refers to the Chinese Whispers item "Talking up growth" (July 30). The Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR) has great capabilities. The director general of ICAR delivered his account like a fast train because he knows his job well. Agricultural growth is natural. It depends on natural forces and cannot be steered by human command. One hopes the Narendra Modi magic works there as well.
