The editorial on Anna Hazare is not only disrespectful considering the fact that he is a senior social activist, but is also distasteful. By calling him a “hazard” you have only demeaned and degraded yourself in the eyes of readers. The suggestion that Hazare should leave the resolution of these issues (corruption and Lok Pal Bill) to a “democratically-elected government” made me sit up and laugh. In several of your earlier edits you have attacked “democratically-elected governments” for their faulty policies. Hazare’s only fault is that after waiting for 15 years for the introduction of the Lok Pal Bill, he has taken the battle to the government’s door in a peaceful and non-violent way.
