A lot has been written about how APJ Abdul Kalam was an activist president and was seen regularly in various public fora. President Pratibha Devisingh Patil may seem to be as active, but she has taken to inviting ministers for breakfast meetings to discuss issues relating to their ministries.
Last week, at least two senior ministers were invited to do this and the meetings lasted over an hour. And yes, the breakfast was both elaborate and scrumptious.
