Red August

Hitting the road for every struggle has been one of the main strategies and an old conviction of the Left parties. This time, too, the four Left parties — CPI(M), CPI, RSP and Forward Bloc — plan to hit the road on issues ranging from price rise to food security. The four parties will organise road shows in August throughout India. Top leaders will take the lead in such programmes in various parts of the country. In fact, August will be particularly hectic for CPI(M) as it will also hold its extended Central Committee meeting then.
