One has to hand it to Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu for putting in ample effort to make a dull moment lively. While flagging off three new trains from Mumbai, Pune and Gorakhpur through a video conference, Prabhu compared the trains, bedecked with flowers, to new brides. "They are looking like newly-wedded brides waiting to leave for their in-laws' place," Prabhu said as the audience burst into laughter. "But unlike brides, who are generally sad and cry while leaving their homes, these trains have created an atmosphere of joy among the people here," he added.
