AEGON Religare Life Insurance launched an online health plan, iHealth, on Tuesday. iHealth is a comprehensive health plan. It is available in two versions — Gold Plan with a sum assured of Rs 3 lakh and Platinum Plan with a sum assured of Rs 5 lakh.
The premium will remain fixed for three years at the level you bought it, that is, you will have to renew every three years. The premium will not rise even in case of a claim in the initial three years. This product has Daily Hospitalisation Cash and Surgical Cash benefits in-built.
The plan will cover 849 surgeries, except cosmetic surgeries. Individuals up to the age of 45 can buy the policy without undergoing any medical tests.
As it is a fixed benefit plan, customers are guaranteed the assured amount. Aviva Life Insurance and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance also offer online health covers.
