Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Yogendra Yadav said Wednesday that they do not have an alliance, tie-up and "not even an understanding" with the Congress and the AAP would "move out" if they do not get support for their issues.
"We have always clarified we do not have an alliance, a tie-up and not even have an understanding with the Congress party. In the absence of that we do not have rights and obligations and it is not for me to say what they should do and what they should not do," Yogendra Yadav told reporters.
He added: "They are an independent mature political party so it is their decision. I wish to underline that we have the number and we are going ahead to implement our agenda."
The AAP won 28 seats in the 70-member Delhi assembly and is all set to form the government with the support of the Congress that bagged eight. Though the BJP emerged as the single largest party with 31 seats, it decided against forming the government after it missed crossing the halfway mark.
Yadav said they would go to the floor of the Assembly with 18 issues and 28 MLA's and try to get support.
"We would hope and expect that given the nature of the issue, we would get support. If we don't we will move out," added Yadav.
