AAP, a new entrant in the political arena, claimed that it enjoys the support of 32 per cent voters and party chief Arvind Kejriwal was the most popular chief ministerial choice of the people.
According to the survey, the party has gained five percentage point and moved to top position since the last survey released in August, leaving Congress and BJP behind.
"AAP now has a vote share of 32 per cent, followed by Congress with 28 per cent and BJP with 24 per cent vote share," said Yogendra Yadav, noted psephologist and party leader while providing details of the survey.
The Kejriwal-led party claimed it was leading with more than 10 per cent votes in 33 constituencies, less than 10 per cent in 17, in four they had an marginal edge of five per cent while in 12 less than five per cent.
"If Congress was the biggest loser between the first and the second wave of the survey, the BJP was the real loser between the second and the third wave," he said.
The survey by AAP was conducted between September 5 and October 5. Yadav clarified that the survey was carried out in all 70 seats with 500 people sampled in every constituency to remove distortions.
Yadav said the survey clearly indicates that there was a wave in favour of the party.
