Delhi Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung Friday urged students to become the voice of the poorest of the poor.

"You are the generation which will take us forward. You have to give voice to the souls of the poor," Jung said at the 91st annual convocation of Delhi University.

He also asked the students to embrace the values of justice, liberty, equality and fraternity.

Jung, an alumnus of the university, said: "I left this university 41 years ago. What I am today is thanks to this university."
